Safari deleted

I'm running a MacBook with Tiger. I tried to open Safari one day and the logo became transparent with a question mark. Then when I turned it off and back on, Safari disappeared from the computer. I can't reinstall it with the .pkg file. When I tried to download the new version it said that my hardrive couldn't install it despite the hard drive having enough space. Can any one tell me how to fix this?

You should be able to just pull it off your install disc.
