Safari doesn't load while Firefox does...

I've been having this problem recently.

Safari won't even load my homepage (Google) while Firefox is snappy as ever.
Then a few minutes later, it's all good again.

Anyone else experiencing this kind of problem?

(No, I won't switch over to Firefox permanently, if I don't have to .. only if I don't find a fix for this problem)

While Im not sure what causes your problem, have you tried repairing permissions, cause that usually fixes little problems like this

Have you tried reinstalling Safari? It's a free download: apple.com/safari
