Hi there

Something weird is happening. I can import and open PDF's in Safari when I do it locally from disk but when I access PDF's directly from the web it doesn't open them. Just see blank grey page.

No problems in Chrome or Firefox.

And I didn't have this issue before in High Sierra, only now in Mojave.

I tried to remove the Adobe PDF extensions from Internet Plug-ins folder so the Safari built in PDF reader is being used only but nothing changed.

Any idea what it could be and how to fix?

You're not the only one with this problem.
It seems like Safari has been behaving like this for a while now.
Sometimes a pdf file will open "normally" in Safari, and everything will be "there".
But often, all you get is "an empty page".

Solution:
Go to the file menu and choose "export (to pdf)".
Save the file onto the desktop, then double click on it, and it should open in Preview.

Again, many others have the same problem.
I've yet to see an explanation as to how to "fix" it.

This is annoying because I can't tell clients every time to save down to disk and open it there.

I need to have assurance that anybody accessing my pdf's can open it correctly in any browser.

Just a shame Safari is doing this now. Why? Is Apple aware?
