I don't know why, but I can't get Safari to open a .doc file in the browser window like you can in IE and Safari on the iPhone. It would be great to have a quicklook-like feature, instead of having to download, click on it to open, then delete it when you're done viewing.

I'm running Safari 3 and Leopard. I thought this would be standard functionality in Leopard...
 
There is no way to do this currently with Safari that I know of...

That really sucks - its such a pain to go through the whole process of viewing a doc. It seems like apple could easily build that capability into the Mac version of Safari (for Leopard) since all you'd need is something almost identical to quicklook.
