Safari download bug?

Everytime I download on safari and see the item in the download window I have trouble viewing the item. Before when I clicked on the magnifying glass it would open up the items location in finder but now it does nothing. It will only open it if I right click it and the select view in finder.
Anybody now how to fix this?

Which Safari version do you use on which Mac OS X version?
Tried deleting "com.apple.safari.plist" in Macintosh HD / Users / YOU / Library / Preferences / yet?
