Safari Downloads Extremely Slow

Downloads in safari have been running extremely slow lately and I'm trying to figure out how to speed them up. Normal browsing is quick, and I'm able to download torrents at 2-4+ Mbps but in safari I can't get over 22 kbps.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
