I've noticed that I can no longer drag highlighted text to Safari on the dock to Google it in a new tab. Use this a lot, really handy shortcut. Was it removed in a recent version of Safari? Any way to get it back (extension/kernel hack)?

I'm on Safari 5.1 on Snow Leopard.

Thanks!

Looks like this feature has been removed. Alternatively you can right click on some selected text, hold the command key and choose "Search with Google" to google it in a new tab.

Russellelly, what happens when drag text onto the Safari icon in the dock now?

I'm still using Safari 5.0.5 (on the other computers in the house, 5.1 has been breaking functionality on a bunch of sites, so I've been holding out for 5.1.1), and I notice that it's doing what you want it to do. The problem is, I want Safari to do what it used to do for me: load the text as a URL. Does 5.1 "fix" this, so to speak?
