Safari: Extensions Disappear

My extensions (I only have 2: 1password and Reddit RES) have disappeared a couple times already.

They do not show up in Safari>Preferences>Extensions, and I have to re-downlaod them every time.

Anyone know what is causing this? And a solution?

OS10.9.4

Are you running any third party cleanup/maintenance utilities like Clean my Mac or that sort of thing. Some of those utilities have been known to erase extensions.

Thanks for your response. I figured it out--user error. I was deleting them by mistake when clearing out my downloads. Extensions download straight to the Extensions folder I think. I was deleting the contents of my extensions folder rather than deleting the contents of my downloads folder.

Hah! This is how I learned most of what I know by messing things up.
