Right now I am running 10.11.1 and Safari 9.0.1.

I have Last Pass installed and yesterday in the extension panel it showed an update. So I clicked it and it asked if I wanted to get the update directly from Safari Extensions Gallery or from the Developer. I clicked from the developer and there was an update button. I clicked it but nothing happened.

Sounds like a bug. Anybody have this issue or any observations on what's going on? Maybe it's some sort of operator error? :)

I have never seen that prompt before. In that case you can also just go the developer’s website and download the extension again. If it is newer then the update will be applied. That being said, in El Capitan the gallery extensions are automatically updated. This is no longer true for external extensions, so you always have to confirm them yourself.
