Facebook never completely loads and it always messes up chat, online and offline.

Deleting cookies did nothing.
Deleting safari plist helped for the first logon, after it started doing it again.

Doesn't sound normal to me.

Running with no extensions, newest 10.6.6 and newest safari...

it just occurred randomly a month ago.

That's a negative ghostrider.
Only happens on my mac and on my safari.
doesn't happen in chrome or firefox.
Maybe it's flash?

Oh and i have click to flash, with facebook whitelisted. i tried uninstall of that and that didn't change.

Hmmm....

Why not just use one of those browsers then. Chrome is faster than safari and firefox is more cutomizable?

Because it's working for everyone else except me!
It's bugging me. It's racist!

Same here!

Latest and greatest OSX and Safari ... Facebook almost never loads completely and frequently displays empty 'placeholder' view with no content whatsoever!

Tried few standard things (clearing cache, reset settings, etc.) but no joy

The same thing used to happen to me. Safari would never complete load any of the web pages on Facebook and it would always screw up.
I feel as though Safari has become a slow, crappy browser and I don't use it anymore. Safari 4 was fast, really fast. Safari 5 is slow, and obsolete.

I use Google Chrome now. It's a lot faster, and facebook always loads in seconds.
