Safari Favorites Bar, Easy Open, How?

In 10.11, Safari, 9.0 —

In the Favorites Bar I have several folders with assorted bookmarks therein.

To the right of these folders is a small black square, indicating that a single click on that folder will open all the bookmarks therein.

But I have forgotten how to create these folders with the black box.

Will some kind soul please help?
