Safari Favorites bookmarks no longer reverse chronological

Not sure exactly when this changed happened (maybe with update to 10.13.4) but now when I add a bookmark to favorites, safari puts it at the end. Since I have a lot of bookmarks on my favorites bar, they are hidden and hard to access. It used to be placed at the front.

Is there anyway to revert the ordering (to reverse chronological)
