Safari Favorites Icons in Folder

I'm switching from Chrome to Safari on iOS and my mac but some things are annoying.

So this is how the items from a folder are being displayed on my mac.

And iOS

Why aren't these showing as icons?

Because Safari for iOS doesn't show bookmarks as icons.
