Ok my Safari and Firefox crashes A LOT on OSX. I get that "there has been an error.." box where i can close, reopen, or report. I get it A LOT and its pissing me off! wtf? for a "solid" os like osx, how could it has so much instability??!?!?!

Have you just downloaded the new Safari Beta? I've heard theres been a few problems with it. I recently downloaded it on my Windows Desktop and it always crashes (there's windows for ya). Could just be the beta version, but I'm not sure.

how would this explain the problems with firefox tho? oddly enough it usually seems to crash when i go to wikipedia (but thats not the only time)

When I first downloaded Safari 3, it made Shiira crash and timeout constantly. So, if you want to run Firefox, I'd say go back to Safari 2.
