Maybe this is a really dumb question but does Safari come with Flash/Shockwave pre-installed? If not, shouldn't Apple make it so?

not sure... but i know you can download the plugin otherwise. I have flash 8 and it put in all the plug-ins etc. into all of my browsers. i do know flash worked from safari prior, just can't remember if i'd previously installed the plugin or not.
