safari font

hi...in Safari, when i type a search (eg autos), in goolge.com, the font is very small. I tried to edit preferences, appearances, but that had no effect. how can i make it so that the text i entered appears easier to read (larger)

(i believe the font adjustments only affect the web page viewing)

please help....

try this, not as convenient as firefox 3 or opera 9 yet, but should work for temporary use.

View > Make Text Bigger or Cmd-+.

Pull open safari and press command and the + key to enlarge the font. Do the same but with - to reduce it.
