Sorry if this is a dumb question, but it's been perplexing me for a while!

I have yet to figure out the best way to set fonts in Safari so I don't have to keep resizing as I go from website to website. No matter what I do some sites are too small - and when I enlarge, the next site is too large. I realize this must have to do with the way the sites are coded, but I would at least like to go back to the Safari default and start from there. I have the font in preferences set to 21 and yet the box I am writing this in is miniscule - so I'm not sure what I've done. Thanks.

great - thank you! So I am right I should set the minimum for the same font size I select in appearance?

Just curious if there's a way to establish uniform fonts in mail too - tho I've set them in preferences, all my incoming messages appear in different sizes - even ones that are not fixed width fonts.
