safari freezes after starting

I've noticed this since 8.3 on both iPad (retina mini 1) as well as iPhone (5s).

1. Close all tabs on Safari.
2. Quit Safari via task manager.
3. Start Safari.
4. Load a page from Favourites.


Usually Safari freezes for about 5 seconds before loading the page. Same thing happens on iPhone as well as on iPad.

Can somebody please repeat these steps so I can see, whether it's just my devices or it's a general problem. Thanks!

I tried the steps as you described on an iPhone 5s, no lag/freezing.

Thank you. The funnny thing is, that it's happening on both my iPhone and my iPad.

Fresh install calls I guess. Thought the days of "format c:\" were over.
