Safari freezes when select text and tap copy

i frequently see a problem under iOS 10.1 on my iPad Air 2 where Safari freezes on some web pages when I select text and tap copy. Sometimes it unfreezes after 10 seconds or so, other times it doesn't. I can hit the home button and exit Safari so iOS isn't hung, only Safari is. As such I can quit Safari and launch it again, but trying to copy text on the same page results in a freeze again.

I've seen this on Google's search result page, but not all the time.

Just tested this on my air2, and i don't have this problem in 10.1
I tested this on my 6s+, and didn't have this problem on 10.0

Can't reproduce it on my machines. Sorry.
