Hi all,

Some help if you don't mind.

I have had Catalina since Public Beta 3. I am now on the GM release. I am having a persistent and frustrating issue with safari, namely that after a period of time, usually 1-2 hours, it refuses to load any webpages. That is, they remain blank white, and the loading indiciator progresses no further than its start position. Alternative browsers like Firefox continue to function normally. Of further note, any new emails will not load either - they too display blank white canvases.

Any ideas?

A restart fixes the issue and then it all comes back. I am on the latest software including yesterdays supplemental update.

Also, in order to restart, I cannot use the system menu - the dock and System UI disappear, but it hangs on the desktop image. A force restart is required. There is something system wide causing this. Console is of little help. I have uninstalled AVG antivirus to see if that helps.

This is annoying because it is reproducible and predictable, and is certainly new since Catalina.
