Hi,

ever since Apple introduced fullscreen mode (it was with 10.7, I think) there've been several things about the fullscreen feature that have been bugging me, particularly with Safari.

First, why is it that Safari doesn't remember whether it was opened in fullscreen mode or not? I like fullscreen and always use it, but still, every time I quit Safari and reopen it at some point, it starts in window mode.
iTunes, for example, does remember the fullscreen mode, why not Safari?

Second, when I close the last open tab while in fullscreen, again, Safari switches to window mode. I'd love an option to instead open a new empty tab, or a tab with the top sites, anything as long it's still in fullscreen.

Third, and this is about fullscreen mode in general, I'd like to see applications remember their position they had in mission control. For instance, I like to have an order such as this: Dashboard - iTunes - Desktop(s) - Safari/other applications
It'd be just far more convenient if the positions were remembered.
Instead, I have to arrange the applications myself after every restart. Why not have applications remember their position, like they could back in 10.6 with the old version of Spaces (which I liked better anyway)?

I've sent feedback to Apple quite some time ago when 10.7 was released and this time again , but apparently others don't share my thoughts. So is there really no one with me?

Thanks for reading :)
