Safari "gestures" Not Working After Update

I got a notice that from the Mac App Store that there was a new Safari (7.0.6) update, so I went ahead updated mine. However, swiping to go back/forward using the trackpad no longer works; I can't even swipe down to scroll, I have to use the arrow keys.

Anyone experiencing this? How do I fix this?

Thanks. Just restarted and the gestures are back. I wonder what happened since the Safari update didn't require a restart.
