Using Firefox I can use the google chat client from within gmail, but not with Safari. I'm pretty sure this is an advertised issue, but has anyone managed to make this work? I prefer browsing in Safari, but I end up launching Firefox just to monitor my gmail account for chats. Unfortunately I'm accessing via a VPN at work so iChat can't see my jabber account. Anyways, thanks for any help you might provide.
