Safari, Grab, and Mission Control

I've been using Lion since it was released but haven't run into this problem yet. I need to capture a shot of a webpage and I was going to do this with grab. I'm not a big fan of Mission Control, but so far it hasn't given me this kind of trouble. What I'm faced with is that grab will only appear in one work area, which happens not to be the same one as Safari. Could someone help me figure out how to get grab to appear in the same work area as Safari so I can do this very simple task?

Try using Shift-Command-4, then click & drag the mouse over the area you want to copy.

You can also program a keyboard shortcut for screen grabs.

I either use the command I mentioned earlier or I use a full screen shot grab by a button I programmed on my mouse.
