Hello

I am on Catalina 10.15.5 with Safari, is anybody else having problems history automatically disappears or is there a way to stop this?

I see Remove History Items is marked as One Year, am unsure if this is right setting but still unsure why daily all history still disappears.

Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I'm on Catalina 10.15.7 with Safari. This problem came on suddenly last week. I've found a fix but have to keep doing it so I want to find out how to fix it permanently.
What I do now, and it works, is this:
1. Go to the Develop Menu and click 'Empty Caches'.
2. Quit Safari and then Open it again.
Then the History is back in the History tab of the Safari menu bar. It's a nuisance, but it works!

To show the Develop Menu do this:
Display the Develop Menu in Safari
  1. Launch Safari from the Dock or the Mac Application folder.
  2. Open Safari's preferences by clicking Safari in the menu bar and selecting Preferences in the drop-down menu.
  3. Click the Advanced tab in the preferences screen.
  4. Place a check mark next to Show Develop menu in menu bar.
