My ex has my IP address and is computer savvy. Today I learned that she has seen my Safari activity, despite the fact that I've reset Safari several times. Is there a way to detect if my computer has been remotely accessed? Is there a way to see if the IP address has been accessed via the Terminal? Plz advise

My advice:

Get a NEW Mac, that the ex has never "touched", and "start fresh".

Take the Mac you're using now, and put it into the closet....

What year and version OS are you on?

If you are on Lion or Mountain Lion, just do a command-r boot to recovery and use Disk Util to erase Macintosh HD. Then reinstall the OS and create a new user account for yourself. This way you will know the system is clean and has no spy/keylogger programs running.
