Safari History settings

Hi, sorry if this is quite a simple question but my safari clear history settings are set to clear automatically after one year - but can someone tell me how I find out when that will be? One year from last manual clear history or on a specific date every year?

I suppose you mean that you have set it to save your history for one year? That means that you have a one year window where things will be saved. It's just a one year expiration date setting, once something has been kept for one year it will be dropped, it does not clear all of your history, just items exceeding one year.
