Safari Homepage Pref No Working!

Anyone else set the Safari homepage, only to have it go back to the default after quitting the app? It's driving me nuts. ANy advice would be great. Thanks!

Safari: 1.2.4 (v125.11)
OSX: 10.3.6

First of all, I'd suggest installing the new security update for 10.3.6, which brings Safari to 1.2.4 (v125.12).

Secondly, try deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.internetconfig.plist - it might be messed up, which could be causing the issue you're experiencing.
