I'll keep this simple. On a PC, if lets say a friend sends me a picture of something, I can just open the picture, look at it, close it, and be done. But on a Mac, I have to download the attachment, wait for it to finish, open it, look at it, close the app, find and delete the file, and clear the download window. How can I just look at something like a picture without having to download it? Thanks.
 
On the PC it is simply downloading to a temporary files folder. In Safari you could change your save to location in the preferences to somewhere more hidden away. Empty that folder every now and then, as you please. :)
 
Good suggestion, but now that Leopard is out, will Quick Look fulfill me needs? I am installing it on my iMac as I type this, so I guess I'll find out soon either way.
