I've had the iPhone since December, and both generation iPod Touches since almost the first generation came out. The other day I noticed that the back of the safari icon is actually a map of north and south america.

I don't know if I am just not very observant or just happened to look at the icon long enough to see it!

whatever, thought it was cool. :)

Hahaha, good one there. It has always been a blue blob for me until you mentioned it.

Well I got one for you. Go figure out the 8 grid MGR for the location that is the icon for Maps! :D

I was expecting some serious flaming/sarcasm in this thread.

I can't believe you've never noticed that before. I'm pretty particular about my icons though.

That would be 1 infinite loop... which many of us know as Apple's headquarters

I only really noticed when the giant There's An App For That posters went up in the Carphone Warehouse next to the shop I work in.

Walk past the giant icon 50 times a day and you eventually twig.

Woah. I never noticed that either even after nearly two years. Ha. My dad just figured out the other day that the Calendar icon corresponds to the date. Doh.

The photos icon bothers me. A sunflower? Eew. It looks like a giant weed.

The number on the calendar relates to the current day your iPhone clock is set too. Pretty cool stuff

Now that you mention it I wonder if there is a significance for that particular moment of 10:15.

Typically in advertising, a watch will be set to 10:10, as it 'frames' the watch nicely. Not sure about 10:15, I guess Apple's five minutes ahead of their time.

alright my bad that I don't study my icons thoroughly enough, no need for the unnecessary sarcasm.

if this thread pointed something out to you, awesome.
It didn't? continue browsing please.

I hate to admit it, but I never noticed that either.
Thanks for pointing that out.

Hey, I haven't noticed that either, in Safari, Thanks. Oh, did you guys notice, in the camera icon, the reflection on the glass is .....oh got to go, the boss is walking in.
