Hey all!

For as long as I can remember now, I've been having problems with Safari and YouTube links which contain time stamps, sent to me by others. For some reason, 99.9% of the time, Safari will completely disregard the time stamp embedded in the URL and will play the YouTube video from the beginning. Very, very occasionally will the video actually start playing from the referenced time.

I've heard others with Safari say they don't have this issue at all and Googling it doesn't bring up any relevant results.

I don't see how this could be anything to do with my computer as the problem persists, even after the fresh install of Yosemite I did, when it was released.

Any ideas?

A YouTube URL with a time stamp looks like this, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBfvJn-fpnc#t=1592

The part at the end 't=1592' references a time in the video where the browser should begin playing from. Safari appears to entirely disregard this part of the URL.
