Safari in full screen mode or not?

This is for Macbook users only, because of the smaller screens, compared to a desktop computer.
When you use Safari (or any other browser), do you use it in full screen mode, or do you leave it running in a window?
I like the extra space that I get from full screen mode, but of course on the other hand full screen mode limits the way I interact with the whole system. I can't use drag and drop for example to upload files to a website, or I can't have always on access to the menu bar, etc.
Most of the times I use Safari in full screen mode though, but I am just curious what your preference is. Thanks!

I'm constantly switching between apps so it's a pain to do full screen mode, I'd prefer to just lose a little of a top of the screen to have all the tabs and everything at easy access.
