Safari iOS 8.0.2 bug

I noticed lately whenever I see youtube clip embedded in Safari I cannot click the play button to watch video. I have to constantly click play in order to start playing, and sometime Safari would just be frozen for about a few seconds without responding to any touch input. Is this some kind of bug in iOS 8? I was able to play Youtube clips instantly in the past with iOS 7.

And if a video pauses to buffer, the scrubber will keep going like the video is still playing, then jump back instead of pausing like it used to.

That's happened to me several times.

Try clicking somewhere else on the video....other than the actual play button.
