iPad Safari iPad Air 2 bug?

Anyone else's brightness flicker the second you open Safari?

Doesn't seem to happen on any other app, which makes me think it's software.

Noticed it happens on my iPad Mini 2 too.

Must be an iOS 8.1 bug.

Only happens for a split second as you open Safari.

If you take a screenshot, and open it up as a picture the brightness doesn't flicker, so it's definately software. I'm sure it'll be fixed with the next update.

Confirmed with my iPad mini 2 too. But I didn't notice it until I saw this post.

To my knowledge this "issue" surfaced already with iOS 7. At least that's when I discovered it first.

I noticed this as well...At first I thought I was having screen flicker issues, but then I tried some other apps and Safari was the only one to trigger it.

Yep, happens on iPad Air 2. Confirmed.
