I'm having this extremely bizarre problem with Safari, when I'm on my home wireless connection (g), sometimes Safari will simply not load any site.

I could have several tabs with the loading indicator and nothing loads, but, I can ping the sites and they come back, the sites aren't down, and if I open firefox side by side it will load those sites instantly while Safari is sitting there twiddling its thumbs.

Anybody have any insight, using the most stable recent version.

i still didn't figure out why it is the case, but sometimes it looks like safari has some sort of DNS problem. Try search "safari dns" here at MR.

I've experienced the same thing on many, many occasions in the past. It's been a bug with no apparent fix (other than relaunching and hoping for the best) that has existed since much earlier versions of Safari. I don't really even bother with Safari anymore. Firefox 3 is for me.
