Safari is opening Gmail as mobile?

Hi there,

When I open gmail.com in my OSX Lion iMac, it opens to the mobile version! Then, at the bottom of the page there is no option for the regular desktop, only the "basic HTML' version. I don't have this issue in Firefox or Chrome - do you guys know what it could be?
