Safari is Stuck in Private browsing mode, outside of private browsing

I used private browsing to quickly open another gmail account I use and didn't want to sign out of my main or add the account.. (I swear! wasn't pron!)

and now my regular safari sessions are all deleting cookies and history.. Everytime I go to say this forum I need to sign in again.. every single time. Every site is like that.

WTF, anyone else have this happen?

Force quitting resolved.. thank god. I did file/quite then clear history and browsing data, rebooted and nothing else worked.

So it's doing it again, and force quit+restart didn't work.

WTF is happening.
