Long story short, I have a ton of tabs open, websites which I check once in a while like forums or special interest ones, not to forget I keep them open in separate tabs but they are becoming heavy for the system resources and I was wondering if there is a way other than bookmarking to keep them all miniaturized in a single window so I can check them on need without to have them take so much memory and processing power.

Thank you

You should consider switching to RSS feeds. Way faster, both for the computer and for you. Give Vienna-RSS.org a go.

Having them open in a browser non-stop is a HUGE waste of resources.

Agreed with the answer above… this is what an rss reader/client is made for.

I've got about a hundred blogs, news sites, and forums monitored using Tiny Tiny RSS… forget about holding a hundred tabs open or clicking through all those bookmarks, no thanks.

The more tabs you have open, the slower it's going to run.
Want more speed?
Then… fewer tabs open.

I suggest you use bookmarks instead.
