Safari Issues

I have a Mac running Somoma and running Safari 17.2. I have an issue with Safari. Typically, I have two tabs open and will open a new tab to search something up.

Recently, when I open a NEW tab and go to a site, the tab will open then immediately close and I wait... for a minute then the tab will open. This behavior is all the time regardless of the site.

I have restarted the Mac and cleared the cache. That doesn't help or resolve the problem.

I updated my Mac and I still have the same Safari issue. I am running Sonoma 14.2 and Safari 17.2 (19617.1.17.11.5).

I have a MBA running Ventura 13.5.2 and Safari 16.6 and I don't have this problem on my laptop. There has to be a bug in Safari 17.2.
