I have a MacBook intel duo core 2 gig book. Prior to the recent firmware upgrade I was able to access my company's mainframe (java ica connection center) computer. After the firmware upgrade I am no longer able to access it. Whenever I try to log on I get an error stating:

The connection failed:

java.net.SocketException

also in the details I get:

java.net.SocketException: Socket is not connected
at java.net.Socket.getInputStream(Socket.java:764)
at com.neoteris.NeoterisSocket.getInputStream(Unknown Source)
at com.citrix.client.module.td.tcp.TCPTransportDriver.u(Unknown Source)
at com.citrix.client.module.td.TransportDriver.run(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:613)

I'm not sure if the firmware upgrade was the source of this issue, or if it was coincidental. Any suggestions?

I tried all browsers. IE5.2 firefox opera. I noticed that in the software updates included with the firmware there was also a mac os 10 java upgrade. That must have been the upgrade stopped my connecting from working.
