Safari keeps closing on me unexpectedly. I did a search and tried the suggestions. I emptied the cache, looked for updates but Safari is updated, then tried to update Adobe because it keeps telling me I need to do so, but it would not update saying that Power ? is no longer supported. I also checked for add-ons that might need updates, but didn't find any. What do I do next? I’m using OS 10.4.11 on my eMac. Thanks for any help you can give me.

are you using any plugins? I had my safari crashing due to two plugins that were sort of messing with each other

I checked, and don't have any plug-ins listed in the library. There's plenty of hard drive space (67.16 GB) available.

This time when it crashed, I got 20 pages of info and it says, among other things:
Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000060
followed by pages about flash player plugin.
