Safari keeps crashing as soon as I start it because of LastPass plugin

I can't delete the plugin because as soon as I start the Safari browser, it crashes before I can do anything with it.

I think you can navigate to (your home directory)>Library>Safari>Extensions

There will be a file for the extension plus a .plist.

Save both files elsewhere then delete them from the Extensions directory.

Next I'd try updating Safari via Software Update.

Have you also tried with your internet connection disconnected? ie if on ethernet,unplug it then try??
