Hey all,

I have a MacBook Pro running Tiger. After installing the most recent update, I find that Safari keeps crashing every time I open a new tab. I've tried cleaning out my plug ins and history.plist, but it hasn't helped. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
LawMan.

What exactly was that latest update? Before checking the disk permissions (which generally only resolves startup issues) I would have tested in another user account to isolate to your Safari.plist or caches. Assuming it does exactly the same thing when creating a new tab, see whether you're running Safari 3.2.1 from About Safari. If you aren't, try updating. If you already are, consider uninstalling Safari and reinstalling it from the Optional Installs bundle on your software restore discs and running the updates again.
