A friend has an old white MacBook. It's running OS X, but I'm not sure which version. Anyway he called me and said he couldn't get on his wireless network, so I told to to click on the Airport icon, click on his network and see what happens. He said the Airport icon did turn black, but every time he tries to open Safari he gets a window that said that Safari closed unexpectedly. I told him to install Firefox and Google Chrome, but the version of OS X is too old to run them.

Is there anything I can tell him to do? Is there any browser other than Safari I can tell him to try and install? Thanks in advance for any advice,

To find out what Mac OS X version your friend runs, let him/her click :apple: > About This Mac:

Then go here and find an appropriate browser version (older versions of Firefox, Opera and Chrome).
