Safari keeps shutting down

Whenever I use the Safari browser it works well for between 5-10 minutes and then just crashes back to iphone home icon screen. Does anyone have any advise on what I can do to fix this? Thanks!

It still crashes on occasion. Is there anything else I could do?

I don't even use Safari that much and it's crashing enough to annoy me because its right when I'm at the point of accomplishing what I'm trying to do (i.e. check my school e-mail)

Really the only annoying thing about the iPhone is the constant Safari crashes. I wish they would fix it.

I assume you're on 2.1 already? If not, upgrading might do the trick.

I just bought mine last week and it is crashing all the time. I'm thinking about returning/exchanging it unless someone knows how to fix this.

Specific sites or in general? Reset Network Settings.

Safari crashing has always been on of my biggest complaints. I will say the iPhone is less crash happy than my iPod Touch (both 16 and 32GB crash like crazy). Still rather annoying! I find the only way to get it back to being somewhat stable is to do a reset, works for a few days than back to crashing.

I'm on a iPod touch and I have the same issue constantly. It's especially annoying if I'm mid way thru typing a reply (as on a message forum like here). It reloads the screen and loses the typed text.
