I have a MacBook Air (Early 2014)
I'm using OS X 10.10.1
The mac is new, I can't get why Safari lags and it's slow a lot of time (like to open a new tab sometimes needs some seconds)

I tried to format, to repair permission and to reset pram. But nothing..

Hi there,

I get those safari lags too. It appears to me after 1day of uptime.

I found out today that when I kill Dock (run pkill Dock at terminal) everything went back to normal. Maybe I'll have to kill dock again after a while. But as it revives again, it is a work around while they fix the problem.

I'd like to emphasize that I'm running in a reduced transparency and "more contrast" .
