On 7.0.1 my 5S occasionally lags when I swipe back to previous page on Safari. It usually lasts like 5 seconds and the only thing I can do during that time is hit the home button.

I guess I should update to .2 but is this a common symptom on iOS 7/5S's?

I don't have iPhone 5S...but on iPad mini and iPhone 4S, Safari sometime takes a while or refresh pervious page when swipe back

Yeah update to latest iOS, Apple has a little more patching to do to the kernel with 64 bit, with time ArmV8 will be implemented beautifull and well reap all the benefits of the new 64 bit architecture
