i have an odd one. i was trying to download from apple's iCal calendars site this morning, the US Holiday calendar. when i select down load i get this message in safari:

Safari can’t open the page “http://wsidecar.apple.com/cgi-bin/n...t=98&platform=osx&method=sa/US32Holidays.ics” because it cannot redirect to locations starting with “http:”.

i'm new to os x and am confused. i tried removing the http: and it didn't work. i have to be doing something wrong, i assume that safari works when downloading from apple's website.

thanks for any assistance and i apologize for what's likely a very basic questions.

I am getting the same error, I wonder what it is... I even tried going to the Apple website directly, see if I could get it that way. Nope.

Try right clicking on the Download button and saying "Download Linked File"

i just tried that at your suggestion and i get

"download 0 bytes of ?"

i am getting the error with all calendars. i wonder what's up, if it's the downloads or safari?
