Safari New Tab

I hate it when you open a new tab in Safari, and the Search field is automatically selected. I have to rapid fire tap on the address bar, as I never use the Search bar. Anyone else bothered by this?

It is a little bit annoying, but not enough too cause any big problems. Ideally I would prefer it didn't auto select either and just let the user choose.

I dislike the new tab feature ... I understand the idea of it, but the practicality of it sucks.
