For some reason safari no longer warns me that it is closing when I press cmd+q on more than one tab.

I have checked in preferences under the "Tabs" section and the "Confirm before closing multiple tabs or windows" box is checked. I have tried unchecking it and restarting safari then rechecking it etc but still no luck.

I don't have a backlit keyboard (MacBook) so I occasionally touch the q button instead so this is quite annoying to keep restoring safari again.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Have you reset Safari yet or deleted its .plist file in Macintosh HD / Users / YOU / Library / Preferences / com.apple.safari.plist?
